The most important responsibilities of this department include the following:

Offering services and making arrangements regarding the meetings of foreign authorities with the authorities of the province, including the setting up of meetings

Attending to all protocol affairs of different foreign missions traveling to Khorasan Razavi

Providing consultation and guidance to other organizations and offices of the province regarding mission protocol and formal events

Offering services and setting up arrangements regarding foreign missions in Mashhad
