The 1st National Saffron Day Festival Is Held in Mashhad from Aban 3 to 5
In this festival the message of Dr. Pezeshkian the president of our country on National Saffron Day was read by Dr. Mozaffari Khorasan Razavi Governor-General.
"The 1st Saffron National Saffron Day Festival" was held in Holy Mashhad from Aban 3 to 5, 1403 through the cooperation of Provincial Government; Agriculture Jihad Organization and the Center for the Agricultural Research and Education; the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Business, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
In this festival the message of Dr. Pezeshkian, the president of our country, on National Saffron Day was read by Dr. Mozaffari, Khorasan Razavi Governor-General. And following that, representatives from the sectors related to the production, processing, and export of this valuable product expressed their views, comments, and suggestions in order to remove the obstacles in the production, export, and branding of saffron in the international scene.
During this festival Mr. Masoomifar, head of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the province, exclaimed, “All the governmental and private sectors active in the production to sale chain of saffron must strive in the 3 stages of creating opportunities, standardization, and the founding of big export companies with the aim of preserving the status of the sale of this valuable product, 90 percent of which is produced in dear Iran and belongs to our country, so that new markets for its export are discovered.”
It is worth mentioning that heads of foreign offices and diplomats residing in Holy Mashhad had a pronounced presence in this festival.
