Director General of Sarakhs Customs Met with Head of the Office of the MFA

On Tuesday, Shahrivar 6, Mr. Kiani, Director General of Sarakhs Customs, met and spoke with Mr. Masoomifar, Head of the Office of the MFA in Khorasan Razavi. In this meeting, a number of different customs issues such as facilitating; aiding and expediting the entry, exit, and transit of goods; quick execution of Articles 57 and 61 of 7th Development Plan and its regulations regarding issuing 24-hour goods release permits; and also the border being open 24/7 were stressed. Mr. Kiani stated that the customs under his directorship is ready to increase the current capacity to nominal capacity of customs and reaching 7 million tons potential. Customs cooperation and interaction with the neighbor country, transparency in tariffs and customs expenses, North-South Corridor transit, and road and rail transportation were some of the other topics discussed in this meeting.
