Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran Visits Mashhad and Meets with the Authorities of the Province

Mr. Nizamuddin Zahedi Ambassador of Tajikistan to Tehran following the invitation of The Center of Excellence in Ferdowsi Studies of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in order to attend the conference held for the memorial of Tajik professors Muhammadjon Shakuri and Khodayi Sharifzade and meet with the authorities of Khorasan Razavi province traveled to Mashhad from Shahrivar 23 to 24.

Mr. Nizamuddin Zahedi, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Tehran, following the invitation of The Center of Excellence in Ferdowsi Studies of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, in order to attend the conference held for the memorial of Tajik professors Muhammadjon Shakuri and Khodayi Sharifzade and meet with the authorities of Khorasan Razavi province traveled to Mashhad from Shahrivar 23 to 24.

During his stay in Mashhad, Tajikistan’s Ambassador during met with Mr. Yaghoub Ali Nazari, Governor of Khorasan Razavi, and discussed the expansion of political, economic, and cultural cooperation. Governor of Khorasan Razavi commented on the growing relations between the two countries and stated that Khorasan Razavi province was ready to expand cooperation with Tajikistan. This meeting was held with the presence of Mr. Noorizadeh, Deputy of Coordination of Economic Affairs of Khorasan Razavi Provincial Government, and Mr. Masoomifar, Head of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Khorasan Razavi.

Additionally, Mr. Zahedi met with Mr. Tavakkolizadeh, Director of Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Commerce, and discussed the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic and commercial fields. In this meeting, Mr. Roshanak, President of Iran-Tajikistan Joint Chamber of Commerce was also present.

 

Tajikistan’s Ambassador attended the luncheon held by Director of Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Commerce and attended by Iran-Tajikistan Joint Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Head of the Office of the MFA, and Head of Foreign Trade Department of Khorasan Razavi Industry, Mines, and Trade Organization. On the sidelines of the luncheon, Mr. Zahedi addressed the questions and concerns of Khorasan Razavi businesspeople and economic activists and stressed the removal of the existing impediments in economic interactions.
