After a year has passed since the victorious Operation Tufan al-Aqsa and the retaliatory and belligerent attacks of the usurping Zionist regime, the world is now witness to the boundless aggressiveness of this regime. This is a regime that does not show mercy even to defenseless women and children and is currently extending its bloody talons to the other governments of the region. After Iran’s long patience in answer to the shameless actions of this regime in assassinating Martyr Haniyeh that was practiced in order to help bring a ceasefire in Gaza, and following the Zionists’ evildoing which resulted in the martyrdoms of Martyr Nasallah and Martyr Nilforooshan, the Islamic Republic of Iran successfully carried out Operation Wade Sadiq 2. This measure was completely in accordance with international rights and conforms to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. Contrary to the measures undertaken by the usurping Zionist regime, Iran’s actions were measured, controlled, and minimal, and only targeted military and security centers.

The Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been constant in defending its territorial integrity and administering justice for the Muslim brothers of the Resistance Front, and will have no doubts in safeguarding these values. On the anniversary of Operation Tufan al-Aqsa I deem it necessary to guarantee that the cruelty of the oppressor will not last, and the greatness of the sacrifice of the Resistance Front will eventually result in the defeat and abasement of the usurping Zionist regime.
