The New Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Mashhad Begins Work after Meeting with Head of the Office of the MFA

On Sunday Azar 18 1403 Mr. Salam Jalal Al-Tamimi the new consul general of the Republic of Iraq in Holy Mashhad arrived at the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and met with Dr. Masoomifar Advisor to the Minister and Head of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the North East.

On Sunday, Azar 18, 1403, Mr. Salam Jalal Al-Tamimi, the new consul general of the Republic of Iraq in Holy Mashhad arrived at the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and met with Dr. Masoomifar, Advisor to the Minister and Head of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the North East.

In this meeting, Mr. Salam Jalal Al-Tamimi who has recently been appointed as the new consul general of the Republic of Iraq in Mashhad, while ewxpressing gladness at meeting with Dr. Masoomifar, expressed hope that through cooperation and coordination with the Office of the MFA in the North East he could carry out his delegated duties with the aim of elevating the relations between the two friend and brother countries of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq.

In continuation and while expressing gladness at the very good and prospering relations between the two countries and especially the cooperation of Khorasan Razavi province with the Republic of Iraq in the different areas of economics, science, and culture; the two parties discussed the scene for extending bilateral cooperation in pilgrimage tourism with an emphasis on the high potentials of the Al-Atabat Al-Aliyat in Iraq and Mashhad al-Reza and with the aim of expanding tourist exchange and the facilitation of the pilgrimage of the nationals of both countries.
