Diplomacy Tour Is Held

On Thursday Aban 17 a diplomacy tour was held with the presence of heads of foreign missions from the countries of Turkey Pakistan Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

With the arrangements set up by the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the North and East and Khorasan Razavi General Office of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts and with the aim of introducing the heads of foreign missions residing in Mashhad to tourism potentials and the agricultural products of the rich province of Khorasan Razavi, “Torbat-e Heydariyeh to Bejestan Diplomacy Tour” was held on Thursday, Aban 17 with the presence of heads of foreign missions from the countries of Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. During this one-day trip which was held with the presence of Dr. Masoomifar, Head of the office of the MFA , the guests, while meeting with Jolgeh Rokh District Governor and visiting saffron fields, learned about the process of harvesting saffron crocus at first hand. In the remainder of the trip, they traveled to Torbat-e Heydariyeh and visited Torbat-e Heydariyeh Saffron Production and Research Center. The heads of foreign missions residing in Mashhad also traveled to Bejstan, participated in the Pomegranate Festival, became directly informed about the production and tourist potentials of the historical sites of Bejestan, and in the end visited the saffron crocus daily market of Torbat-e Heydariyeh.
